Deliverables

Definition

The specific content, posts, videos, or other output a creator is contractually required to produce within a campaign. Deliverables typically specify format, quantity, platform, length, and deadline.

For Creators

Deliverables define exactly what you're being paid to produce. Vague deliverables can lead to endless revision requests and scope creep. Always negotiate hard caps on revision rounds alongside any deliverable list.

For Brands

Clearly defined deliverables protect the brand from under-delivery and give grounds for withholding payment if the creator fails to perform. Include specs for format, resolution, caption requirements, and disclosure tags.

⚠ Red Flag Warning

Watch for broad language like 'such other content as reasonably requested by Brand.' This is an open-ended deliverable that can be exploited to demand unlimited additional work.

Sample Contract Language

Creator shall produce and publish the following Deliverables: (i) four (4) permanent feed posts on Instagram, (ii) eight (8) Instagram Stories, (iii) two (2) TikTok videos of at least sixty (60) seconds each, all featuring the Product in the manner approved by Brand pursuant to Section 4.
